I want to learn about them so I can pick one.
- Where are you from, whats the leftist scene there like?
USA, I don't know about the real leftist scene but I guess everybody knows left means Democrats here. :(
- What branch of leftism do you subscribe to?
That's what I'm here to find out.
- How did you become a leftist?
Well the left stands for change and the right stands for staying the same. I think we have to keep changing and growing. :thumbup1:

you may be wondering why your thread received little notice, in all honesty the questions don't seem worth anwering. the first two questions can be answered by a quick look at our info on a post. a specific thread would be better for question 3.

Don't worry about trying to fit yourself into some label. The important thing is to just learn, and eventually you'll find certain terms and labels fit your views/ideas better than others.
Anyway yeah it can be confusing at first.. Really we need to make a short dictionary thing for all the different 'tendencies'..

Maybe because he started the thread a whole 49 minutes before your post?
Welcome :)
We have an extensive Learning section that is at your disposal, ask and we'll try to find an answer (or multiple answers).

The thing is there's too much to read! I wish someone who already understands would make a simple guide. But I know I'm not supposed to ask questions here so I won't.

You might want to look at this thread in learning (and others like it) I tried for a somewhat superficial overview of the Marxist tendencies, as I understand them.

If you have questions that you can't find answered in Learning, start a thread.

Try the marxists.org encyclopedia, and wikipedia. Tendency articles are usually edited by members of that tendency or others.
Also, I would be careful about what you post in Learning because that section of Revleft is not secure from Rosa.:D

Welcome! I hope you find out where you stand politically. :)
Where I live in the US, democrats are considered radical leftists and anyone who even defends socialism is an extremist.

Not where I live! Where I live, we actually have a semi/quasi-Anarchist Free Radio Station, and it's been raided by the FCC a couple of times.
