Hello comrades

I have a question to ask. In my opinion Unions are not Socialist at all, there is no such ideology going on for example fight for Social reforms, only they are worry about keep in jobs, which I am not against that, but issue are they pro-capitalist got big properties and they have to pay mortgages.
I am not sure I am right would you explain little more do Unions are anti capitalist or only worry to keep fat wages jobs.
Thank yoou

Depends on the union entirely. Most of their work are workers struggles, yes. Most big mainstream unions have an opportunist reformist approach, i.e. they prefer not to strike, they negate a lot and take what they can get, are highly bureaucratic, and all in all aren't good for much. Then you have unions like the IWW and IWA, who have a more revolutionary mindset, but often are rather small.

A benefit all unions have in common though, is that they unite the working class in class struggle, and as such help to raise class consciousness, worker solidarity and class organisation, which are a necessities for revolution. Of course, some do this more than others, but most do it to a small extent at least. Also, even the minor victories the mainstream unions achieve, are still benefiting the workforce.
