Wingnut Dishwashers Union, "Proudhon in Manhatten", not particulary good singing, but I really like the lyrics, I wish he'd sing them sweeter, but there it is, a non punk anarchist artist

alicia keyes says shes an anarchist (bizzare) and Thom Yorke is a fellow travaler as far as I can tell, as are REM, who are big Chomsky fans.

I think both Refused and The (international) Noise Conspiracy are anarcho-communist (yeah you could also call them Anarchopunk, so what '_').

Other than that, I could give you tons of artists that qualify as having anarchist believes and/or themes in their music, but I dno about whether they are AnCo or AnSy or neither.

Check out the songs "Hail The New Pawn" and "Fair Fighting"
They're definitely anarchist and radical. I have a hunch they're syndicalist or somewhere along those lines. They support the IWW and EZLN.

If you can get your hands on it, check out their album Hail The New Pawn. There's no way you can listen to it and not want to drive your car through a mall or parliament.

The Last Internationale (http://www.myspace.com/thelastinternationale) is an Anarcho-Communist group. Or so they say/said at the concert I went to of their's at a small coffee shop back East.

I thought they were M-L?

O_O

wut. any source?

I just assumed they (at least Dennis) were an-comms, cos of songs like Communist Moon (TiNC) and Protest Song '68, and cos well, the straight edge punk is usually more tending towards anarchism.

He was an anarchist at one point, I think.

Daaww... Thanks!

I'm working on more at the moment. This is an "instrumental" song, being that most of the other songs have vocal tracks.

Tell me what you think of this idea:
I want to release the disc in two-formats. One physical disc format with artwork etc. and another digital format release under a LGPL or BSD style license that includes all the songs plus the multi-track source audio for each song. This way anyone can remix, mashup or even incorporate my music into their works.

When the EP is ready Ill be blastin that shit everywhere! There will be no hiding.

The idea whith multitracks is awesome, should be included whith all album/digital song releases to get more ppls to buy them. Multitracks should allways be included. :)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mqexThzOO Turns out the lead singer is the same as the Wingnut Dishwasher's Union and I never heard about the Dishwasher's Union until this thread. Crazy how it works but kinda bad ass since I wanted them to release a new album.
