Is rebellion from Irish ancestors passed down ?
In 1969, two years after his son Che Guevara's brutal murder in Bolivia his father famously stated: "The first thing to note is that in my son's veins flowed the blood of the Irish rebels."
Che's father added : "Che inherited some of the features of our restless ancestors. There was something in his nature which drew him to distant wandering, dangerous adventures and new ideas."
Ned Kelly has been an integral part of Australian History. He was an Irish outlaw or bush ranger fighting against discrimination and racism, views made by the British in charge when Australia was first infiltrated by colonialism. As it says in the documentary, Irish Catholics who came to Australia were frowned upon by the elite or wealthy in charge who just happened to be British.
" Ned Kelly has been mythologised among some into a Robin Hood (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Robin_Hood),[38] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ned_Kelly#cite_note-37) a political revolutionary and a figure of Irish Catholic and working-class resistance to the establishment and British colonial ties.[39] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ned_Kelly#cite_note-38) "
(I don't know if this could have led to the indignation he could have had for the native Australian's as they were victims of British colonization but around Australia he is an iconic and popular historical figure.)

Edward "Ned" Kelly (June 1854/June 1855 – 11 November 1880)[1] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ned_Kelly#cite_note-0) was an Irish-Australian (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Irish-Australian) bushranger (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bushranger), and was seen by some as merely a cold-blooded killer, while to others he was seen as a folk hero (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Folk_hero), for his defiance of the colonial (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Colony) authorities.[2] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ned_Kelly#cite_note-1)
Kelly was born in Victoria (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Victoria_%28Australia%29) to an Irish convict (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Convicts_in_Australia) father, and as a young man he clashed with the Victoria Police (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Victoria_Police). Following an incident at his home in 1878, police parties searched for him in the bush. After he killed three policemen, the colony proclaimed Kelly and his gang wanted outlaws (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Outlaw).
A final violent confrontation with police took place at Glenrowan (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Glenrowan,_Victoria) on 28 June 1880. Kelly, dressed in home-made plate metal armour (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Armour) and helmet, was captured and sent to jail. He was hanged for murder at Old Melbourne Gaol (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Old_Melbourne_Gaol) in November 1880. His daring and notoriety made him an iconic (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cultural_icon) figure in Australian history, folk lore, literature, art and film.
