I'm an art student from Idaho, where there are more cows than people and everyone is crazy conservative. I don't really know where I fit in ideologically, and living in Idaho has a way of dampening a leftist's fire so these days I'm pretty quiet. I do know, however, that capitalism is like that old car you've had for a while, and its transmission is going out, but that's expensive to fix so you keep doing things like buying new batteries or switching to a higher octane fuel, but eventually you've got to acknowledge that it's time to get a new friggen car before it falls apart while you're going 85 on the freeway.
I guess what I'm getting at is, I want to do *something*, but I don't know where to start. That's why I'm here! Nice to meet all of you.
