Wuthering Heights, litarature and "classic" books has grown impressively since my love for reading. No, I do not read for school, I read to broaden the list of vocabulary words. (My ideal goal in life is to be a writer, and I will be). It pains me to high school students only such books should not read yet, or maybe never to see reviews by thrashing a great book. You really can not call this a romance. Or, it is not traditional romance. Love affair between Heathcliff and Catherine clearly is doomed from the start. People constantly say they hate the character. I did not. I loved them! The Heathcliff and Catherine. Not that I did not hollar at them when they do silly things that become repetitive, as I have seen happen in real life. In fact, was the only character I dislike Nelly Dean, who already corrupt Heathcliff and Catherine share on set seemed doomed. This story is so true to real life. It is so bitter, so is gothic. A happily ever after in this novel, people. I love tear jerkers, and that is what this book is. One thing that is amazing in Emily Bronte, her description. Her words in my mind a vivid picture plant. And he need not go on and on with the description. A paragraph with a place he can look real! Read this book. For whatever reason, read it.
