I haven't come up with anything solid on it, just that since there are 40 million poor people here in the US, and neither the left or the right use the word "POOR" I'm pissed off.
So call it a rant or what, but it is basically going to be a collection of the best aspects of socialism whereas there will be no collapse or the laying off of 1,000,000 government workers... I thought that would have been the big topic here this week.

Smartism - Main goal
No more poor people
Second goal
No more war - eliminate all wars and weapons
Third goal
Reduce the consumption and abuse of animals and the planet
Difference that the Greens or the Socialist? Adapting to the current state of affairs where the rich are already rich and they will not be giving it up.
Manipulate the Rich to hire the poor by by-passing college and doing direct training...just for those who would otherwise not attend college - 2nd, 3rd, 4th generation cholos, bloods, skins, and the like. Get these thugs off the street and turn them legit.

these are decent goals but they are not new. and do not warrant a whole name for itself.

but, and im sorry, i feel it is really just left-liberalism.
trying to manipulate the bourgeoisie with the state(which the bourgeoisie owns) so that they dont walk about workers without bringing up the unemployed is not going to do much... at all.

These Tea Party victories coupled with the new report on poverty just has me losing hope over here in Kalifornia. Whitman spends 119 million bucks for her campaign, which could have gone to text books, or computers in Compton.
Not to change the subject but here in Kalifornia there is a Prop...Prop 23 that is funded almost exclusively by Texas oil barons... it will eliminate the Green bill that is currently working on adding green jobs to this state.

The "poor class" and the "unable to work class" are both part of the working class (if you were take a Marxist class analysis, it would define them as working class because, as soon as they would find employment, they would become wage slaves to any one of the two capitalist classes to be exploited. Or if you were to take any one of the numerous anarchist class analyses, you would find they have just the same social/economic power as employed workers.) - but since you don't have a class analysis at all, you wouldn't know that.

Just as important as it is to have an idea, you must also have a revolutionary strategy to pursue said idea. Depending on the means by which you seek to implement "smartism", it may or may not actually be so smart.
