Just to clear things up and to prevent future misunderstandings, I'd just like everybody to know that my sense of humour is pretty much non-functional.

That is all.

Don't worry, NoXion, that's just something which happens to people when they enter Chit-Chat. It should wear off shortly.

Actually, the effects of the taint seem to have become permanent in this patient. As the disease progresses, he will continue to lose his sense of humor until it takes a dramatic reversal and he will laugh uncontrollably at things that aren't funny; such as poverty, rape, and Dane Cook. This effect will slowly turn him into, what we call a "Giant Douche" medically speaking. This final condition will eventually take his life, probably in a back alley or something as he laughs at others misfortune.

I'm afraid there is no cure.

This is my opinion, as a Doctor.

Basically, easy targets, such as the stereotypical Indian accent, French people, and so on, were used, in a weak moralistic drone, and with humour often close to the level of Dane Cook. That is, below the level of humorousness of world hunger and intense torture.-Me, from an article written earlier this year.

Apparently Dane Cook's not a popular guy. Anyhow, while being a giant douche is certainly a sad fate, and unfortunately an incurable virus as of yet, that only means laughing rather than actually making such 'jokes'. However, I am concerned that this patient may be vulnerable to worse complications. I must ask, worriedly: Doc, do you think that this patient's disease could degenerate into acute ulnar dysfunctional syndrome, thus dropping him to Dane Cook's level of humour, and shortening his lifetime considerably (at least, if I have a say in the matter)?

Are there any supportgroups for these people?

I know Carlos Mencia and Jeff Dunham are known sufferers.

Is there a way I could ween myself off chit-chat to keep this terrible disease from happening? :crying:

I assure everyone, there is no evidence that my sense of humour (or lack thereof) is contagious or progressing in any direction. You needn't worry about that. Because as it turns out, it was my mother's fault. You see, it turns out she had large parts of my sense of humour surgically removed when I was younger. I found the documents to prove it.
