This TV show starts again tonight, and it is funny. But why all the hype? its not that amazing. I mean, people are starting facebook groups saying "i will be watching Inbtweeners on monday" and posting statuses about how excited they are. wtf?

It's very funny, also people can relate to it seeing as most kids have sixth form experiences much more like that than skins.

I used to really enjoy but, similar to bailey, it's been spoiled for me by all these fuckers inanely quoting it etc. "I LIke\E IN BEtWEEnerS becaus ethey SAY 'CLUNGE' LOL!!"

its shite.

lame cast, lame characters, lame and obvious stereotypes. lame, inane toilet humour (did anyone actually talk like those twats in school? or are they just terrible sketch drawings of generic adolescents?).

thankfully a few people on my facebook haven't brought into the hype, but many have. i wonder if they even know why they like it, or if they just like it because they're meant to. its been "recommended" to me loads of times, and i've never found it to be anything more than suckery.

Never seen it, but anything and everything is better than Skins.

It's fucking awful. Laird is right. One o the numerous reasons I don't watch TV.

obvious stereotypes.
thats the point.

I'd imagine most schools had someone who talked like Jay yeah.
Making up stories of who he'd slept with etc.

The others probably not so much.

The others probably not so much.I do actually have a friend who is exactly like Jay (and I watched the episode last night) so it's funnier when I relate to people I know.

If the point is to play off of 2-dimensional stereotypes, then it is textbook bad writing.

I knew people like Jay at school, the only difference between them and Jay is that Jay lacks even more character depth than his real-life equivalents, thus making him even more annoying to watch than it is to be around the kind of people he's meant to parody.
