Hi all,

I've been reading up from time to time on revleft. There's a lot of interesting topics that I myself would to take part in.

So a little bit about me:

As of now I'm a temp. worker at an industrial manufacturing plant. Sadly about 80% of the workers at my workplace are gonna be layoff pretty soon. Their jobs are being transferred to another manufacturing plant in Shanghai. This has been going on for awhile at my workplace...

But anyhow, I'll be here to share and learn views!

Well just a quick overview, here's what I believe in:

* The establishment of socialism in a decentralized manner.
* Replacing the monetary system with something more in the lines of calculation-in-kind, or labor vouchers so that workers can be rewarded based on their contributions.

So far parecon sounds like a fitting economic system that would work well with socialism.
I guess the best label I give myself is a libertarian socialist.
