Hello fellow leftists

hey, am new to this site, having only discovered it the other day. Am looking forward to furthering my own political understanding, and getting to talk to more people who share my political beliefs. At the moment i am trying to get more involved in activism in my area, cumbria, so any help on that front would be much appreciated! I would broadly catorgorise myself as an anarcho-socialist, and am looking forward to talking to a whole range of people with different ideas to help me develop mine.

well, i first became interested in politics after seeing a Che Guevara flag, and after some reading, became realy into socialism and communism. i then got thinking more about freedom, through an a level philosophy and ethics course, and began to get more into the ideas of anarchism. some of my friends are anti fascists and anarchists, so they began to talk me over realy. as far as definitions go, it fits the best. no private property, socialist values etc.

not too bad. It was realy good to see the community spirit in action, people realy helped each other. some bridges are still down, and quite a few people are still in rented accomodation, but things are going back to normal fairly fast.
