I personally told my friends while I was drunk. Not the best advice I guess. I've never told my (homophobic) family because I decided I'd only tell them if I got into a serious relationship with a girl, which so far I haven't.

I think most people are more acceptant of bisexuals than to strictly-homosexuals, if that's any help.

The only problem is that some people consider bisexuals to either be putting it on to get attention, or pretending that they're not 100% gay.

I don't think it's really necessary to go around 'telling people' like "hello, I am bisexual" or "mom, pops, i got somethin to tell ya..". Just don't deny it or hide it when it's relevant. My brother's gay and he doesn't explicitly tell people, just lets them figure it out. In other words don't be in a rush to tell everyone, but also don't deny/hide it. And if someone gets funny then that's their problem

Yah, I agree no rush to tell the whole world. Its awesome that you are figuring out your sexual being, but most likely there is more to find out about yourself, so there is no rush. If you need to tell SOMEONE, first you just told us and second, think of ONE friend who is a good enough friend that they will keep ur secret and not freak out.
