Eastern European Socialist Camp?

I was recently on the PSL's website reading their fundementals of marxism and while reading a part which slightly mentioned the Soviet Union,they also wrote "...or the eastern european socialist camp." What is this term? Is it just another way to refer to the USSR or is it something else completely?

I believe it is in reference to the eastern bloc.

You're referencing to the countries which were loyal to the Soviet Union but outside of the Soviet Union itself, e.g Poland, GDR, Bulgaria, periodically Albania and Yugoslavia, etc.
