Maybe some people prefer the idea of rehabilitating prisoners into healthy, useful members of a community? To commit most crimes that aren't motivated by money (or lack thereof) you'd have to be pretty fucked up. It makes more sense to treat some prisoners kind of like psychiatric patients.

I got a libcom account about 2 years ago. I only used it 2 or 3 times and I never posted there. I forgot what my account is even. A few of their articles, Aufheben and other stuff is quite interesting, otherwise libcom is weird.
