I'm looking for some video's that describe Marxist theory and practice.
Audio books or even podcasts will do.
I don't want historical documentaries or 60mins of somebody just rambling and being boring, I'm looking for the commie version of those zeitgeist films, something that is easy to watch, fun, educational and of a decent quality.
Any help here would be hot.
Thanks.

Yes, Brendan Cooney ("brendanmcooney" on YouTube) is the person doing such videos at present.
Other YouTubers:
rlstrick: some quality stuff
RedNickD: more debunking than theory, and sectarian
CPUSATUBE: a couple that aren't specifically about CPUSA, read by a shitty TTS reader
marxotube: a few LibriVox recordings set to pictures (sectarian)
A handful of others scattered around YT, such as this:

Slim pickings. I don't know of anything with the production level of the Zeitgeist vids.

Yeah, thanks for those, but I'm looking for something that will grab the interests of my friends. You see, we like to watch Zeitgeist and Alex Jones films for a luagh... it's a bit of a hobby nothing serious. It makes good talking points when you're chillin.
What I'm really after is a visually stunning piece like zeitgeist that goes into depth like the zeitgeist orientaion video. Something really easy to watch but at the same time informative.
But the vids you guys suggested are really helpful so thanks :D
If no such vid exists then I have a B-tech in Media (albeit 4- years old) and if some serious intellectuals wanted to make a vid then I'd be game for that :D

Yeah, whatever else one may say about Zeitgeist Addendum, the visuals and audio were very appealing, I thought.
I'm not sure what's become of it, but there is/was a Leftist Video Project (http://www.revleft.com/vb/group.php?groupid=354) group.

It might be a bit long for your buddies, but Capitalism and Other Kids Stuff (http://www.worldsocialism.org/video/) could be a nice start.

Excellent suggestion, I should have remembered that. It's dry, but still a favorite of mine. Something like that, with its simple language and non-recruitment message, but jazzed up and made more exciting, would be great. (Though, of the two versions, I prefer the plain white over the CGI backdrop, since the latter is so poorly done.)
Incidentally, there's a leftist video thread, if anyone wants to bump it with suggestions.

Well, Brendan (at Kapitalism 101) tried to answer my criticisms of dialectics, and after a few exchanges it became apparent to him that he could not, so he banned me from posting there. Par for the course with these mystics.

I'm glad to see you back, Rosa, but come on. Brendan is doing heroic work spreading Marxist analysis.

This website has a ton of audio and video with more to come. It is easily searchable and can be browsed by category.

Sure, but it's a pity it's a mystical version of Marxism he is peddling.

Well, to go into them in this thread would be to derail it, but I have outlined them at RevLeft many times -- for example here:

Plently more RevLeft threads listed here:

And in extensive detail at my site:

Well, this thread has certainly taken an unforeseeable turn.

Exactly. Cooney is a creative guy and has the best videos out there in my opinion to open people up to Marxist economics.
