No, because I don't jump on every single national liberation bandwagon. People who wear this purely in support of the Palestinian cause (especially non-Muslims and non-Arabs) are hipster nutcases (just look at TVM ). I rest my case.

I don't think I would ever wear one of those things, especially since every douchey activist moron from here to Berkeley wears 'em. It doesn't matter what the issue is...go to any lefty demonstration about any topic that douchey activists happen to be enamoured with, and you're bound to see someone expressing their urge to fight the Man with some kaffiyeh that they probably bought off the internet.

I know one Trotskyist who actually has the exact same hair style as Trotsky. Another one has the exact same balding head and facial hair as Lenin. A third one always wears a cap to emphasise his proletarianness.

The other Trotskyists that I know are actually pretty cute girls.

I own one I bought at a right-wing army shop. I guess it's not a "real" one. I bought it when I was sorta in the Emo scene and it was getting big in said one (yes, I listened to brokenCYDE back then, too).

Nowadays I mostly wear it to Egotronic concertspolitical events to troll anti-germansexpress criticism of Israel.

just kidding. I'm way to pussy to do that at a place with a lot of fucked-in-the-head drugged up folks hating on it.

I used to have one when i was 15-16, when i just discovered socialism. I got ride of it when i realized that it was silly and 'lifestylistic', but i have to say that the scarf has taken a good backlash, frome a traditional clothing in the middle east and north africa, to an anti-imp symbole among radicals in the west, to a wannabee radical wearing, to suddenly becomed part of "alternatives" dress-code (you know emos and shit).
