Well, I stupidly used a name I go by IRL on revleft, so no, I can't imagine changing either. I'm just too used to my name. I wouldn't be me if I chaged my name.

I also used my IRL name on revleft!!
but yea, regardless of how weird it is (unless my IRL name was like mildred or something - I'd change "mildred"), its just too weird.

Because leftace is your real name? Or did you change it?
If my IRL name was something really weird and didn't suit me, then maybe I'd change it, but I think the name you grow up with always feels like it suits you unless your parents gave you a really silly name.

leftace53 is my real name.
I'd change my last name though, in a hearbeat. I'd make it an initial lolo. Last names are just not the same as first names - no matter how much people tattoo their last names on themselves (are they going to forget or something)

I think it's weird when people tattoo their own name on themselves. It's as though they can't remember their own name or something.
I'm pretty sure you're joking about being called leftace53, but I worry about offending people so I'll just accept it and move on haha.

I know 4 people now who got their last names tattooed on themselves. 3 of those are in giant fucking obnoxious text. I simply do not understand it.
I swear, my IRL name is leftace53.

I'm sure it is.
I'm not very original when it comes to names on forums. But I thought, hey, nobody will link "kayl" to me because there are probably loads of kayls around :) I am in the revleft facebook group though, so that could make it a little obvious.

That's just your political facebook.
I should have hd the foresight to make a political facebook. In a few years, I'll never get a job..

I hate when people change their names. It just confuses me. :/
Oh, I would never change mine.

Funny thing that this came up. A friend of mine is supposed to help me with the legal process tomorrow.

I've gone through a series of infantile name changes on revleft and I can assure you this will be the very last one.

I would possibly change my surname, seeing as my family has changed it dozens of times already in the last 150 years, and even my first name has been anglicized and what not, but to deviate from it would be quite strange indeed.

Yes I would. My dad is doing some weird name combination our family does. Using "Eugene", "Anthony" and "Matthew".

I would gladly change my irl name to my pseudonym. I prefer it.
I've changed by revleft name quite a few times. But I keep coming back to The Doctor.

don't worry, the bourgeoisie has bigger issues than leftist teenagers:lol:
the only time i've seen someone legit get fired and blacklisted was for trying to start a union in their workplace

I've seen people getting threatened to be expelled from school and actually getting punished by headmasters, because their involvement in educational reform protests could be tracked through facebook.
I find it naive to believe this can't happen to you in a workplace, especially since I would assume our involvement is "a tad" more radical than wanting a bigger educational budget ;)
