What is your age and sex?
What is the oldest and youngest age you think you would be very likely to go out with?
Anything else? Reasons, etc?
-----
I turn 21 next month. Male.
Youngest age of women I would likely hook up with or casually non-exclusively date is 19. Gives them one year from high school graduation to learn the "beginner's mistakes".
Oldest age of women I would likely hook up with or casually non-exclusively date is 37. I usually hang out with women much older than me.
Reasons:
By age 27 and up most women I've meet already have a general idea of who, and more importantly what they are. The classy ones. They know what they want in life and they have a plan for getting there.
They are also more interesting to talk to, have less of a tendency to get wasted just for the sake of it, have more developed interests, and have more experience.
Mind games also become the exception rather than the norm to test someone. They are also less likely to bullshit you and flake out on you. I prefer to be rejected outright. Because when someone lies to me or tries to flake me, I will call them out. I will let them know it is wrong, in public and private. They are lying, flaking scum that lose my respect. I will no longer give them any attention. I will seek to impart my feelings to as many - far & wide - that I can influence to do the same
They tend to be more independent, and don't need me to validate my care for them 24/7 through texts, calls, etc. We'll only get together occassionaly, but each time will be memorable.
No one out on the street outside of a college setting never saw me as younger than 25. I dress up and my skin looks older than it is since I've been out in the sun a lot almost every day for the past 5 years.
Another thing I don't like about lots of women my age is that many of them are very immature. They are amateurs and their word cannot be taken seriously.
It's like, they'll be going out with someone for a few months. Then one of them will make a big scene about breaking up. Then 1-2 weeks after the break up they'll get back together again. Someone as washy as that loses all credibility and their word can never be taken seriously again.
I don't mean to sound arrogant, I definitely have my own flaws. But being a liar, bull shitter, or a flake isn't one of them.(if it isn't obvious I've had problems with flakes in the past lol) My word is my bond. If I cut ties with you, that's it. I'll do it cleanly, in private. In person. No facebook drama. Don't even list relationship status.

Half your age plus 7 is the general rule of thumb, which would make it 17 for me as a minimum requirement as I'm 20. Although, personally I'd rather they be closer to 19/20 than that young. Oldest, I'm not particularly bothered, for all intensive purposes I guess up to about 25, since at that point they'd potentially be all concentrated on their life, career etc whilst I'm still doing the student thing. Also, there's a bit of a reality check in place that I'm probably not going to hook up with someone radically older than me. The oldest girl I've been with was 23.

I'm 19, and I'd stick to the same age window really. Depends a lot for 17yos though, some can be really immature. On the other hand I prolly wouldn't say no to certain 16yos. Up, I really don't know. I guess 23 or 24 would be the maximum for me.

I just turned 17, and unless I find a very mature girl, I won't date anyone under 16. As far as older, nothing higher than 19/20.
I have what you can elitistically (sp?) call refined tastes. I like classical music and play the classical guitar quite well, and I like politics, philosophy and sciences in general, but I live in a very isolated island, where there is a lot of poverty and very little culture, so it is rare for me to find someone with my tastes unless if it's where I have guitar lessons or something. So I'll usually go for the older ones since there's a better chance that they're more mature.

I'm 23. Age is not as important to me as other attributes (such as how well we connect), so I'd say my range is 16 to about 40. Any older and it could be too much like going out with my mother.

I'm 19, and the youngest I'll go out with is 16, the oldest I'll go out with is 23 or so, although I'd bend the rules I think for a 15 year old if I knew she was mature enough to handle something serious and her parents approved, and would be willing to go older than 23 if I knew she would generally be at the same stage of life as me. although that'd be really a rare consideration on my part for both scenarios.
that said, my current missus is close in age to me.

I'm 19.
As far as how young, old enough to pee, old enough for me ;)
But really, my acceptable ages would be 0 to death, it really doesn't matter to me. I've hooked up with people a few years younger than me and with someone over 40, so I really don't care about age. It matters much more what the person acts like, and if they are self-destructive, codependent, narcissistic, aggressive, overbearing, violent, suicidal, substance-abusing, promiscuous, all-around out of their mind bat-shit insane, then chances are I will fall madly in love with them regardless of their age or gender or any of that other bullshit.

The age of consent is so arbitrary.
I agree.
The age of consent around here is 16 (i think), and it just varies so much individually about whether or not people are ready for anything really. A personal comparison of Canada, the east coast kids are ready for intimacy (physical and emotional) around like 12 and 13. Ontario, probably around 18 - 20. Even geography plays a part in interaction maturity.

The person you're doing it with. A kid in my town is getting charged with statutory rape for what, from all accounts I've heard, are trumped up charges of non-consensual sex with the girl whose charging him with it, just cause they broke up.
