Just joined..........a little about myself.

Hi folks. Thought I might join this forum because I'm just another person who is fed up by the racist right.

A bit about me:

1. I was born in Calif. but now live in Texas.
2. I love classic cars. Pretty much anything from 1948-1992 {Cold War era, basically} will do for me.
3. I have ADD.............
4. My family are all Republicans, but I am an independent voter, leaning to the left{with a significant libertarian streak. ;)}
5. I once started a small charity effort to help the victims of the 2004 Indian Ocean Tsunami.{I don't think it was as successful as I had hoped, but I do hope I made a difference somewhere}............I was a freshman in high school.

Great effort on the aid initiative! In the 1920's the communist international set up a thing called "international red aid" which was similarto the red cross, but on political grounds and based on workers solidarity. We really should rebuild those strong links.
