Im just curious, what is your favorite season and why? also, gripe about your regions weather if you want.

For me, its winter. in nothern California its the only time it rains really. i dearly miss Wisconsin winters though

and i HATE summer.

Spring.

Fall sucks cause then I know winters coming.

Winter sucks cause it's cold as fuck.

Summer is too hot.

Autumn is absolutely beautiful here. I live in a log cabin surrounded on all sides by a state park, so when I wake up in the mornings everything is orange and red.

Fall cause it's not insanely hot or cold and it doesn't make my allergies act up.

Autumn. Winter generally gets fuckin cold. Summer is too hot. I don't care much for spring.

Next to spring and winter, fall is my absolute favorite season-Marge Simpson

Actually I had to answer fall because when I lived in the countryside for a year, I had never worked physically so hard and been outside so much, it was really refreshing and a lot of fun, so everytime the autumn comes I have a ton of fond memories gushing back. And the older I get the more the fall colors impress. Spring comes close, to be sure, but nothing beats running out of breath on a crisp autumn day in a rural area.

I love the summer because it's really hot but Autumn is also great because the coolness is fine with me... but Spring and Winter are awful (except when I lived in Florida. If I was still there I'd replace Autumn with Winter on my vote).

60 Fahrenheit is cold to me.

60 Fahrenheit is cold to me.Apparently, most people in Florida agree. I remember last November people at my school were wearing hoodies when it was only 61.

Winter, and not far behind is Autumn. Spring and Summer are pretty good, but I don't like heat. Take into account I live in Southern California.

I live in Wisconsin, winter where I live is unbearable.

Autumn, obviously. Everything's beautiful, it's cool (but not cold enough to warrant a coat or jacket), there are no bugs or mosquitoes flying around, and it's the only season where you can watch orange and red leaves blow in the wind while listening to the Kinks' "Autumn Almanac" or Simon & Garfunkel's "Leaves That Are Green," which in my opinion is the only way to listen to those songs.

I think the real question is, what is the lowest temperature that you have been outside in without a coat/jacket?

Or in just a leather biker jacket? Wisconsin's fall to winter weather and I was drunk and needed a smoke. It was the middle of the night in the north woods.

49. (um...one degree F below 10 C) It was pretty chilly, especially considering there was a breeze. But that was with a short sleeve T-shirt. 40 is the coldest I've worn nothing but a long sleeve shirt [Not a thin dress, a cotton one, pretty warm actually]).

(Might not sound impressive to a northerner, but that is like unheard of south of the Maison-Dixon line. )

Winter because its the most relaxed time of the year + i take a few weeks of vacation prior to christmass and a week after newyear also no more mowing grass either at work.

but summer is really nice too because of all the young women on holiday here.
But if its just the weather i prefer winter i like the cold and love snow as that means almost no work can be done :thumbup1:

I chose spring because it's not as cold as winter, and not as messy as autumn (due to the falling leaves and rain that turns them into mush), and not as hot as summer.

1) Wiki. I enjoy when that time of year has such weather.
2) United Nations also gets points for referencing a good band.

Autumn. Still bright in the mornings, warm, no wasps.
I can't believe people are picking winter it is still pitch black at 7 in the morning, do these people actually have to wake up in the mornings. Waking up in winter is like trying to wake up from hibernation.

I really like winter, but I think autumn wins by a slight margin.
