It is a nice introduction to them.

John Holloway wrote a book about them that is meant to be quite good.
And ironically if you want to read the prominent texts they have produced wikipedia is actually quite useful, start here http://en.wikisource.org/wiki/First_Declaration_of_the_Lacandon_Jungle and go through all five.
