What are your thoughts on the increasing tendencies of non-blacks to use the n-word (phonetically altered African-American Vernacular English version) in casual conversation, as a term of affection or friendship?

The way it's become so common is quite disturbing. That racist language should not be used at all, by anyone. Even if they don't mean it in a harmful way, the word itself has history of harm behind it. It seems people are forgetting. :(:mad:

The fact that my black friends used it to refer to me made it seem natual for me to use, because it was part of our everyday language.

I mean, I am genetically black, but you couldn't tell it from looking at me.
