Hi,I have a debate in my class on 'Should students enter Politics?' I have to support student politics.
How to counter-argue if they mention about the use of violence in student politics.

students tend to have more time to dedicate to a cause.

also, most students are pacifists. they dont want to get thrown out of their school.

but, if you are countering an anti-left argument, say that violence is an every day occurrence which the working class and a small portion of the intelligentsia face daily.
they have a monopoly on violence. let us be good teddy roosevelts(for the sake of the metaphor) and bust that monopoly :thumbup1:

Violence is hardly unique to students engaged in politics. Just ask these guys:
