Hello, I am new to registering to the forums but I have seen and read a few things here every now and then for about the past year. I think this is a very interesting site.
I would describe myself as a Communist, as in someone who would prescribe to the teachings of Marx and Engels from the Communist Manifesto and other such writings. I do not think of myself as some Communist elitist or some all powerful knowledge master on Communism or Socialism, but I do have my beliefs on what Communism, Socialism, and Anarchy are and how they apply to society (or could apply in the future).
I am in Southern Ohio in the USA and there is a fairly big right-wing presence here, so not too many people I have met or seen are that leftist. Of course, there are the typical "teenage-liberals/democrats" that are seen everywhere, but I do not have a tendency towards liking the majority of those kinds of people, mostly because I find people around the area I am in the be very hypocritical (e.g. asking to spread the wealth around, but not wanting it to happen to their money).
I must also say I am human. I do make mistakes. Whether it is in my grammar, my beliefs, my ways of thinking, I always have the possibility of being wrong or making a mistake, and when pointed out I am not afraid to admit I am wrong. At the same time, I do not believe I am wrong, I am not going to say I am, even if it is to satisfy someone by making them less angry.
