He's gonna splooge on everyone's face and tell them it's all been an act and that he's a cog of Obama.

Or he should get punched in the dick.

¿Que?
27th August 2010, 06:52
I think Al Sharpton is planning a march towards the Lincoln Memorial. The shit-going-down potential seems kind of high.

The latter. Maybe. That's what I hear, anyway. At the very least, I kinda am really hoping for some lifestylists to make total destroy.

You know, I bought and tried to read Beck's "Common Sense" a year ago. It made no sense.

Rusty Shackleford
27th August 2010, 07:10
i havent even touched a piece of becks work. i might look at arguing with idiots. emphasis on might.

i actually hope nothing bad goes down because that will only justify what they say. they claim the right is peaceful, which is complete bullshit, and that the left is all violent and blood thirsty.

NoOneIsIllegal

the left is all violent and blood thirsty.
Our bloodlust is unquenchable.

Did he pick that date on purpose? Being the same date MLK gave his "I have a dream" speech and all.

Rusty Shackleford
27th August 2010, 08:19
he says he didnt.

Apparently Glenn Beck is now trying to legitimize his rally by teaming up with MLK Jr's conservative niece, Alveda_King. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alveda_King)

It is truly sad.

27th August 2010, 10:28
What's this all about?

Rusty Shackleford
27th August 2010, 10:43
the first or second major rally which will probably set to morph the whole right wing movement into one ideologically unified fascist movement. obviously.

828=H B H=Hail Blood and Honor.

NoOneIsIllegal

If Beck knew anything about Martin Luther King Jr, he would call him a communist. Like he does for all social democrats/liberals.
He probably does know, he just omits certain things.

Rusty Shackleford

so beck is apparently introducing the black robe brigade. yet another reactionary group. basically militant priests and pastors that were supposedly the guiding force of the american revolution.

i mean fuck
straight up reaction-fest going on now in the US.
http://www.wral.com/golo/blogpost/8198820/

I thought this might be happening, but it's been "under wraps" until now.
Glenn Beck booked the Kennedy Center tonight, for a special event prior to tomorrow's Restoring Honor Rally.
This is the event where the Kennedy Center informed him that he was not allowed to pray there, because it is partially funded with tax-payer dollars. After about a day, he decided that they could sue him, because he is going to open this event with a prayer, and end it with a prayer, and he decided they might pray for the entire event! The Kennedy Center backed down.
He also mentioned that most of the people attending tonight's event were priests and rabbis, but he wouldn't really tell much more than that about the event. That's when I knew - or actually suspected what is about to happen.
It was confimed on video on his producer's blog yesterday. He is helping to restore the Black Robe Brigade! This is not going to be welcome news to people like Jeremiah Wright, Father Flaeger (sp) and other "social justice" pastors. In my opinion, this is EXACTLY what our country needs.
If you don't know about the Black Robe Brigade, here's a little introduction - a transcript about the Black Robe Brigade, from a Glenn Beck show back in April.
fuck.

Isn't the whole thing about restoring honor?

This all seems vaguely familiar... -cough-

Rusty Shackleford
28th August 2010, 06:37
100-200 thousand
government estimates.

glenbeck purposely lowballs it. by a lot.

he says "maybe 10,000"

NoOneIsIllegal
28th August 2010, 06:54
5,000

...That's the given estimate of KKK members, so I figured I'd connect the dots...

The fake kind has little to no real-world activist presence, from what I've seen.

the 47th anniversary of the "I Have A Dream" speech.

Right. And Beck is calling it his "Restoring Honor Rally." Basically, it's so full of fail it reaches right back around to win.

I'm not sure which is more sad- Glenn Beck or the people who follow Glenn Beck.

Os Cangaceiros
28th August 2010, 20:13
The people who follow Glenn Beck.

I think that Glenn Beck knows exactly what he's doing, personally. He's just an ex-stoner/drunk shock jock who's ridin' the wave. He's found his niche and he's exploiting it for all it's worth.

Rusty Shackleford
28th August 2010, 21:46
Change comes down the barrel of a gun?

nah, it was something about how the kuomintang will attack the red army, but the red army will retaliate with the same force. while chiang kai shek sharpens two swords, we sharpen two swords as well.

ill find it. its in the little red book somewhere, i thought it was a badass quote.

also, the rally looks rather sparse :D

I have a high school acquaintence who is my friend on facebook, and he considers himself a reagan republican/libertarian, and has for sometime, even back in high school, so he was opposed to Bush. Today his status was "Mr. President, thanks for make my financial aid take so long, can't you do anything right?".

I loled for so many reasons, then called him a socialist for accepting government handouts.
