Asil Nadir, a business man, fleed Britain in 1993 charged with fraudulent behaviour. He was said to have 'donated' £400,000 to the conservative party. Now that the conservatives are in power he has suddenly decided to return saying that he doesn't think innocent people should be afraid. His trial won't even be until 2012. So it's likely he might just get off with the charges if the government are batting on his side. As an entrepeneur, if he is acquitted he will probably fund the Tories (due to capitalist beliefs) and then also fund their election campaign, helping them to get re-elected. http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2010-08-26/asil-nadir-fugitive-polly-peck-founder-flies-into-london-for-fraud-trial.html
When on holiday in Cornwall, David Cameron's wife gave birth to his son. But I think it seems quite suspect that he has been dwelling around in a constituency which is fairly split between lib dem and conservative support. The hospital only made his wife only had to wait 48 hours for a caesarean (which is highly unusual but not for the pm's wife). He says he is going to give his son a cornish name. Sounds like a publicity stunt to me.
George Osborne's budget was originally designed to hit the rich to keep his party in good publicity immediately after the election harder but now a couple of months in his latest budget has been proven to be hardest on the poor.
Cameron has also named the date for withdrawing the troops from Afghanistan as 2014 coincidentally just before the election. This means he can make very harsh cuts in the meantime and fall back on this latest stunt (which will gain a lot of publicity) just before the next election.
I believe one of Cameron's reforms to the NHS (and correct me if this is at all inaccurate) is to give the doctor's power to refer/recommend clinics to certain clinics. This way Cameron can set up the health system so that (as he has made no cuts to the NHS) fund the new clinics so they become proficient and then when he wants to, simply privatise the entire National Health Service. I reckon he will wait until he has been re-elected to do so.
Short story? We are all doomed. I say if the masses are reactionary enough to vote the tories back in, let them bare the brunt of their reign of terror. Only then will people in Britain truly realise the horrors of capitalism.

There is nothing surprising here, different party but the same old tricks.Whoever thought that a budget under the conservatives wasnt going to hit the poor the hardest were living in a dream. They are not just reforming the NHS they are already starting to privatise it.Until there is a revolution the song will remain the same.

Start your own thread :D. Lol, nah just kidding you but seriously though I don't know much about their cleverly crafted plans. But they must have been out there so just add to the thread if you know anything.

Downing Street Memo.

While I agree a bit with Hitchens that it doesn't amount to much more than a collection of what was already said before, it was still relevant enough to point out that regime change was always in the cards, not inspections and UN Regulation compliance.
