I'm feeling ENORMOUSLY world weary right now, so I thought I would seek out my comrades to help cheer me up. How do I get through this thing called life without going batshit insane (not denything that I already am:rolleyes:)? I just get so tired of all the shit going on, and I'm feeling pretty damn nihilistic right now. I know this is an odd place to go to, but you guys are my people so to speak.

I know what you mean, I get so tired of just everything around lately. Not that this feeling every really goes away, what makes me not go bat shit insane (well I might already be insane but thats another point all together) is that sometimes I just go out for a drive up north. Its pretty much all farmland up there, and just pull onto one of the many grassy knolls and frolic in the grass. Seriously, I say "fuck it" and lie there, in the grass for however long I want. I do this during winter time as well in 5 feet of snow.

For me, at least, doing something productive in the community cheers me up. Seeing people's moods improve over the smallest of things, like planting a tree or a few flowers, is enough to raise my mood as well.

Try to find peace, beauty, and happiness in the smaller things in life.

I am intense. Of course I wear appropriate clothing, because I did that in my unmentionables one time, and caught pneumonia as well as mildly frostbitten ears.
I went running in the rain yesterday, and found a really pretty place near my house. Getting in tune with nature helps me from going batshit crazy.

I commune with nature in various ways and surround my self with good friends and comrades. Also exercise, natural water swimming is my favorite.

For music, I recommend "If I Ever Leave This World Alive" by Flogging Molly.
