He's a fucking degenerate drunk. While he pulls off the clever drunk act on TV, in person he's well-known for puking all over the place and/or showing up to functions smelling of vomit.

I have very little love for the Syrian Social Nationalist Party. It has a nasty anti-Semitic streak and a history of smashing Lebanese unions for the Syrian Baathists. This in itself shows the limitations of loud anti-clericalism as a political platform for the working-class. It was Orwell and Mussolini's favorite part of socialism as well.
