Anti-corporate/ socialist/ fight the system-type hip-hop? Or in fact any GOOD hip hop. No Lil Wayne bullshit. Not debating that either. I mean The Last Emperor, Jedi Mind Tricks, Blue Scholars, Flobots, Brother Ali, Common Market, Dead Prez, Mad Skillz, KRS 1, Masta Ace, Mos Def, Talib Kweli, Wu Tang, Poor Righteous Teachers, Pete Philly & Perquisite, People Under Stairs, Nas, Mr. Lif, Immortal Technique, Gang Starr, The Fugees, Dilated Peoples, Digable Planets, Tribe Called Quest, De La Soul, Cunninglynguistics, Common, Camp Lo, Black Milk, Jeru The Damaja, Ras Kass, Atmosphere, Akrobatik, and Afu-Ra. These are obviously the ones I like. I just don't want to receive one's I already have, but yes. I wish to add to my inventory, preferably left-wing hip-hop.

Examples of what my standards are (highly suggest listening to):
"Because They Made It That Way" by Mr. Lif
"Ruff Enuff" by Akrobatik and Afu-Ra
"What Would You Do" by Paris (the rapping in this one kicks in about a minute and a half in)

N.A.L.H.H.T. or Not Another Leftist Hip-Hop Thread!!!!!!!!!

Seriously, this has been discussed numerous times, and there is also a user group. I mean, do we need another one of these?

On a kinder, gentler note, I LOVE DP!!!!

Funny that you mention the Fugees, because Wyclef Jean has exposed himself to be a complete bougie tool.

You should definitely check out Aesop Rock, especially his album Labor Days, which "is a concept album, painting a portrait of the day-to-day lives of the working class". Also check out Sun Rise Above, he's a leftist rapper (I think Marxist or Anarchist, not sure). Collaborated with Dead Prez and such.
