what i wrote in the rong fred.

personally i love the feudal aristocracy. very revolutionary. they let peasants work the land and feed themselves and protect them, and the peasants only have to feed the aristocracy and provide military assistance. so, the peasants dont have to do as much as the aristocracy because they are always on excruciating dignitary missions, having sex with princes/princesses and eating a lot of food and makign merry a lot and then praing for forgiveness for merrymaking. brougeois scum took our power from us. cure you bourgeoisie!

You're thinking of the serfs not the peasantry. The peasantry were a product of the transition of society from ye olde feudalism to capitalism. That is to say serfdom had been replaced as the principal form of exploitation of those who tilled the land by a new system of money rents paid to the aristocracy. Thus the peasantry was born.

Also, the peasantry isn't really a class, although mostly assumed to be petty-bourgeois small-holders(middle peasants). You can also get poor peasants(what Lenin called semi-proletarians) who don't own any land and rich peasants(kulaks).
