If the event goes on from 11am to 13:00 and you post it on the day, at 14:48 then you aren;t exactly helping people to get there.

From the pictures, it seems that the number of gathering is pretty high for a city like London for such an issue.

Not particularly

Yeah because there are regularly massive demonstrations about what's happening in India, demos far bigger than this one.

The demo was large and succesful, and as pranabjyoti said "the number of gathering is pretty high for a city like London for such an issue."

Actually that wasn't my point, but yes there still are bigger demos regarding issues happening in India, in London.

Which is entirely subjective.

Did being a snarky wanker come with your left-communist politics, or were you always like that?

As you insist on getting abusive, do you always get like this when people stop to correct the crap you talk? I'm sure you know that this demo had an estimated 250 people in attendance (according to someone who wrote this on wikipedia, it looks about right), because you of all people would have a good idea of how big protests about specific issues are in London.

Maybe the Tamil protests will jog your memory, or maybe I can point to earlier examples of people coming out against communial tensions in Kashmir, but no you aren't interested in any of that, all you care about is your Maoist "cadres" in London and spreading misinfo that glorifies your favourite movements.

I wouldn't have corrected you if you just said it obviously had a good turn out, but you insist on making it look better than other protests which is just wrong, so I will correct you and if you don't like it, tough.

He said it was 'pretty high' for such a demo. By any yardstick, his statement is true. Why are you being so snarky and sectarian about it? It's very strange.

Although the Tamil protests were about Sri Lanka...

Although the Tamil protests were about Sri Lanka...

And if you want to truly point pick, a lot of workers from all the pre-partition of india countries still consider 'India' as the whole region.

There was no implication that it's anything to do with the politics it represents.. so how can it be sectarian? It also wasnt intended to be snarky and I can see that pranabjyoti doesnt feel any need to moan about it. His statement is not true, but I dont really have a problem with that because he doesnt feel the need to try and ram the point home, unlike you.
