I remember going there before I went red, looking at all the massive piles of food and other assorted stuff, and thinking "man, this is what makes capitalism wonderful. So much food!"
Now every time I go, I think "damn, this is what makes capitalism suck ass. So much food just sitting there while millions go hungry or die of starvation."
Even so, I still go. Where else am I gonna get dog food that cheap?

I fuckin' love Costco. You can get a shit-ton of food on the cheap, plus they have those awesome sample stations.

I can't go because I don't have the member card to get in.
I do most food shopping out of publix.

I support these statements.
Also the hot dog at the food court was pretty good. I like going there when I have to buy laundry detergent and toilet paper, theres a shit ton on the cheap.
Books are fairly cheap there too, but its a shot in the dark on the quality of books (lately it has twilight and romance novels)
I agree though, theres always so much food, just lying there, going to waste :(

well, i dont see the problem with having place with shitload of food avaliable, its just a shame that beccause a lot of people cant pay for it, it have to rot and go to the gardbage.
what is a cosco after all, a food distribution center, a more efficient way to allow people to get food with less pollution involved.
i seriously envision something like that after the revolution, a more straightfoward way of getting access to a lot of food without having to supply million of supermarket.
