I saw his book in a local bookstore, the Trillion Dollar Conspiracy, and it looks like an interesting read, but every time i see the New World Order brought up, i immediately begin to lose interest.

Would you guys recommend reading his works, or no?

Jim Marrs is a conspiracy nut. I remember seeing him in Austin when I was interested in the JFK Conspiracy, as he wrote the book Stone's movie was based on. He struck me as another odd right wing conspiracy nut. He even used the word socialism in a negative context and suggested this is what the "one worlders" want.

Stay away is all I can say.

l really wish one of my favorite writers wasn't so associated with him; Michael Parenti.

How is Michael Parenti associated with him? One's an anti-socialist, the other is a socialist.

Parenti endorsed his book on the JFK assassination.

They also were together at a conference for 9/11 truthers, Fed Heads, and JFK assassination conpiracists.

It was a mixed bag of speakers. Parenti is not a 9/11 truther or a Federal Reserve conspiracy nut. The only thing I've ever seen him talk on really was the JFK assassination.

Then again, Chomsky was on the Alex Jones show and I wouldn't count it as a notch against him.

At first glance I thought this was about Johnny Marr (of the Smiths). Then I realised was about Jim Marrs (author of Rule by Secrecy: The Hidden History That Connects the Trilateral Commission, the Freemasons, and the Great Pyramids and The Rise of the Fourth Reich: The Secret Societies That Threaten to Take Over America). So yeah, he's a nut. Glorious book titles though

I read "Rule by Secrecy" in middle school. If you think the Russian revolution was a conspiracy carried out by freemasons/illuminati and financed by international bankers (read: jews) then yeah, he's pretty legit.

This is odd. Zinn is on there too. Parenti debated a truthet in a lecture and said he doesn't believe it was an inside Job.

I think a lot of figures on there range in their views. Some might feel the government wasn't upfront with their activities before 9/11 and whether it could have been prevented while others are of the opinion of being an inside job by *insert group*.

In regards to Jim Marrs though, he pretty much is on every conspiracy that existed, or at least more well known ones. Looking through his publications he has books on JFK, two about aliens and UFOs, Psyops, three books about 9/11 conspiracies, a fictional book set against the backdrop of combating Nazis, a book about a long running Nazi conspiracy to take over America, and finally the book mentioned in the OP which has a bent on NWOs and banking schemes.

I think it's a pass. If you can find it in a library some how or off a friend it may provide for some interesting reading to say the least () but I wouldn't spend money on it.

Well the movement itself(That being the mainstream website) Is basically for anything questioning the events, not jumping to THEY DID IT,ect. Theres even statements on the healthcare for first responders.
