If you haven't already, you need to see this movie. I've just watched it for the first time. It documents the UMWA Miner's strike in Harlan, KY ('Bloody Harlan') in the 1970's, and it really hits close to home for me. I live just a short drive from Harlan, and it's where my family first settled when they came to this country. One thing that really pisses me off is how after those workers fought and died for their rights, and spent all those months on the picket line, so many conservative assholes still dominate this region. :mad:

My favorite scene is when the miners travel from Kentucky to New York to picket the New York Stock Exchange. Incredible.
