Why its so damn good for your lungs: first of all, you get the satisfaction of rolling your own cigarettes, and then you get to inhale this godly cancercompost that smells faintly like bacon in the can. Its smooth and has a heavy feel when smoked. im partial to knowing i actually inhaled something, and even more partial to inhaling something that tastes great.

Why its so damn good for your lungs: Well, they are filterless so they are great for quick smokes. And, for a filterless cigarette they dont taste metallic like camel straights(at least i call em that, but they are just camel non filter). The "toasted" flavor actually tastes like something toasted, i haven't figured out what it tastes like, but it tastes good.
Plus, you might gain a hipster point when smoking these.

Why they are on my shit list: Cardboard, but smokable. I prefer them over refries of even top quality cigarettes but thats not saying much. They are just better than refries.

They actually have less tar, but I couldn't really tell you why I like them so much. Probably cause my dad and mom smoked them.

I don't like too much odd and obviously artificial flavors. I don't want my smokes to include flavors like peaches, grape, or wine. If anything, I only want hints of licorice and/or coffee in my tobacco. Also, I do prefer wood ones over the plastic especially since it is the same price (although my line of thought, outside that it looks better, is that plastic is worse for the environment...lol)

Marlbro Mentols are the first smokes I bought. They're alright, but Camel Mentols are better. The best Mentols I have had though is Benson and Hedges, the pack I currently have.

These are not too good in my opinion. I like my tobacco strong but Amber Leaf is just really harsh without having any good taste qualities. Gold Leaf is just really bad.

I'm warming to this as of recently. I didn't like it before but it's smoky taste is nicer than most rolling tobacco's. I will probably use this more.

These are not too good in my opinion. I like my tobacco strong but Amber Leaf is just really harsh without having any good taste qualities. Gold Leaf is just really bad. I think "not too good" does them too much credit. If it came to a choice between smoking 'leaf and smoking goat pubes I would have a hard time choosing.


I'm warming to this as of recently. I didn't like it before but it's smoky taste is nicer than most rolling tobacco's. I will probably use this more. I used to smoke drum almost exclusively a couple of years ago, until I discovered how awesome old holborn is.


It's decent but I don't like it much. The taste isn't much to write home about. I agree. I certainly wouldn't buy it of my own volition.

Ah I wouldn't say that. I think its the sturdiest one there is really. I suppose I have simple tastes but I like it. Don't know why it gets such a bad rap, especially on here.

What's Old Holburn like? Never tried it You'd be doing yourself a disservice if you didn't give it a shot. It's quite strongly flavoured and can seem very harsh at first. It's like a slightly better version of drum without all the various bits of dried miscellania you find in packs of the latter.

I need to try old holburn then. You're right about tightly packed. Always find it hard to toke at the top of the roll up.

Also, haven't got any tobac at the moment and I'm smoking Marlboro lights, they are an abomination against smoking.
