Hey people, i am an englishman, who is very interested in moving his hun ass to the occupied 6 counties, how much could i expect to have to pay in rent for a flat, and how hard is it to find employment ?

My old man spent six months in the republic, he loved it, hje stayed in his best mates house, where they had an outdoor toilet and when he bought meat, he said, it was the only time he had it there for the whole six months, this was in 1970s, i dont know if he was exagerating lol.

Also, would i be able to join the IRSP if i did move, or do they glare at us englishmen and force us to watch braveheart with them until we pass out from the sheer uncomfortableness of it all?

Cheers for any info you can shed

TAL

The reason i want to move there is i have always loved everything about Irish culture and history, only one badass people could fight huns with our long range guns for 800 years.

I also like the fact, that the irish are not hostile to the polish and brazillian immigrant communities, my brothers GFs uncle said that, when the irish were starving, they migrated to America etc for work and a better life, and he was happy others could come to Ireland for the same reason.

It was reading irish history that made me a marxist, i also am sick of british chauvanism, and living without any job hopes and the lack of political movement.

Any irish shed any light, or dont you want an english prick on your island? :)

Rent on a private place varies enormously, depending on your budget and expectations but typically its a good idea to expect to part with at least £100 a week and have about a £500 deposit ready. A couple of years back i was able to get a 1 bedroom place for 60 a week but the landlady was the worst accommodation provider ive had and the roof caved in due to dry rot.

As for jobs, the job scene is shite, its more a question of how hard it is to get any decent jobs in which case the answer is your chances are next to nil. If you're lucky expect to be tied to call centre desk year after year. My advice is stay in England.

there are one bedroom flats in england for 30 quid a week, but i just fucking hate england so much, and as bad as it sounds, english people are the most ignorant, racist, nationalist pro empire fuckfaces in the world, take for example, the typical british "socialist", oh old labour was glorious, the IRA are murderers, hail churchill the racist prick, down with national liberation, now lets go vote for our labour boys, then pass comments on how the working class are to blame because they work exploitative jobs, when they should be rebeling, i actually was told this shit by a british guy calling himself marxist

i self loathe after hearing that shit day in day out

its like loss of empire fried everyones brains

occupied 6 countie

So you mean you want to go to North Ireland, not to South Ireland/Republic of Ireland?

english people are the most ignorant, racist, nationalist

It's possible that you'll also meet ignorant, racist, nationalist N. Irish people.

Talking about nationalists, Northern Ireland has unionists who are probably more in love with the idea of the UK/British nation than the English themselves.

There has been quite a degree of hostility towards immigrants here in the north. Most of it is just stupid casual racism mhowever there have been some more extreme cases. Found an an article on bbc news, its a bit old, and id say things have improved a bit, but it gives an overview of the sort of attacks that have occured and some statistics. We've been labeled "the race hate capital of Europe", i dont know how accurate that description would be but there have been some sickening incidents.
