Has anyone noticed that the right attacks the so called "communist" countries, blaming millions of deaths on them, when just as many, or more people are dead because of capitalism or capitalist reaction? Its like they forget that hitler was a capitalist and that countries they like , like britain, killed millions for imperialism. I'd like to set aside, for the purpose of discussion, whether the figures on communism are accurate, and compare.

Communism
USSR + China = 100 millions (Many of which died in famine, not some kind of murder)
Capitalism- Slavery, Imperialism, WWI, WWII, Native Americans, Vietnam, Installed leaders, political disasters caused by the CIA, Preventable disease, h=unsanitary conditions, Blockades and santions, famine in the midst of food surplus(Which kills 9 million a year today-UN) Hundreds of millions if not more. I would estimate 250 at least.

100m < 250m

I understand that I would need some concrete figures, and I have seen some, but its a long process to sift through it all, I have seen figures as high a one billion, but I think thats a bit much

Anything natural that goes wrong under a supposedly communist state is obviously the fault of the leader, who didn't channel some supreme being well enough. Under capitalism, it's called a tragedy, even when many of the conditions that led to a higher number of deaths were caused by problems within the capitalist system.
