With over 100,000 private contractors in Iraq, I was curious about the jobs available for US citizens in Iraq and I found a fucked up website called "alliraqjobs.com". This (http://www.alliraqjobs.com/job-73764.html) job ad was particularly telling of the situation in Iraq.

I have heard even the mainstream media start to talk about how US bases in Iraq are starting more and more to resemble US cities. Iraq is being colonized for the profit of these companies.

Not that I find your suspicions unreasonable or the companies' guilt unlikely, but have you looked into any further information that might further imply prostitution being imported into Iraq?

It's an interesting topic.

This is interesting but you haven't really shown any proof for why prostitution is getting into Iraq.

Did you notice, in that job posting, it is asking for "escort girls"? What further implication is necessary?

I didn't say further implication was necessary to believe such accusations to be true, but was asking if you had seen anything else concerning the issue as it was an interesting detail in the broader issue of corporate practices in Iraq.

There are jobs available in many forms for the contractors and other groups that have come set up shop in Iraq. They pay better than average too from what I've been told.

They can range from translators to cooks, driving trucks, security, desk jobs, food services, and so on.

It's not unsurprising then that other "services" would spring up for the contractors and their employees.

This is just capitalism exporting its core industries. I'm surprised they aren't advertising for drug dealers as well.

And you think that prostitution wasn't there before the US turned up? They wouldn't have been called escort girls but all the same.

Very naive.

That isn't the issue. The issue is that while the US-led occupation of the country is protecting the interests of war-profiteering multinational corporations.

I do not know much about this issue. It certainly isn't one that most of the capitalist media would even want to bother to investigate.
