and the US shows no signs of ending their nuclear weapons program. To the contrary, imperialist America is ever expanding their war against the world....
But on this day, let us not forget the plight of Hibakusha and their families that still suffer today because of this horror of horrors.

Non-proliferation should be the cause of every human being that has a liking for drawing breath.

I truly believe that our own(US) government would turn weapons of this scale against their own and blame somebody else in the interest of the preservation of their agenda of global domination of resources and policy.

yes, and to note:the US is the only state to have ever used nuclear weapons. With all the bombings since.. not sure if people are aware of that.

The US bombings on Hiroshima and Nakasagi were definitely among the worst crimes against humanity in history if not the worst. The US ruling class is basically as bad as the Mongols or some other cruel empire of old. Ghengis Khan came to power by uniting many of the nomadic tribes of northeast Asia much like the US came to power by uniting the original colonies. And look at Mongolia today which just goes to show that every empire has its fall and the US will too.
