Many major Republicans are now calling for the revising (repel) of the 14th Amendment in order strip citizenship from the children of undocumented migrants. The fight to repel the 14th amendment which made former slaves citizens is a attack not only on immigrants but all workers.

So how do we start a campaign to stop this?

I cant see anything like this happening. The republicans can say all they want but I dont think it will change.

If it does there will naturally be mass protests and demonstrations and possibly riots and strikes.

It's not going to pass, because frankly the Republicans do not have the clout in either house to get this. If they do happen to propose it and it passes Congress (again, impossible with their numbers), it would then have to be approved by 3/4ths of the states (typically in their state legislatures, though there is another method it is never employed), and that it's self is hard to achieve if by some way they achieved the first.

Put simply there's no chance in hell the Republicans could pass this. That brings me to my next point.

What this really is: a stunt. The Republican Party is rallying up their base and I expect to see similar stunts all the way to the November elections. Just observe how the right-wing pundits line up behind this, rant about it, then you start seeing the people they impact act like they care about it. It's merely getting them ready to get emotional and come out in their little "revolution" in November.

It also shows the hypocrisy of these self-proclaimed rigid constitutionalists.
