Help, I remember buying an album in the 80's by a band of Skinhead types who released an album with a track called "Green and Peasant Land" on it, they were a British band but I cannot think of their name, anyone remember them?

I can't post links, but here's what I found -
Lemon Kittens - never heard of them, but found them through a lastfm search. not skinhead, but a british post-punk band, apparently. But they have a song entitled "green and pleasant land".
Screwdriver, song "power from profit"- in it, they mention the line "green and pleasant land" - they're a popular skinhead band, but completely anti-revleft.
In a google search, I found a website, which had a section entitled "skullhead", under which there's a song (I presume) with the name "green and pleasant land" - of course, as a warning, this site looked like it was pro-nationalist and anti-socialist..... So, I don't know, maybe the album or band name is "skullhead".

Of course not. I found that out by searching: skinhead "green and pleasant land". Honestly, I've never listened to a single one of their songs.

Even if we solely judge them solely by their music (and ignore their extremely offensive lyrics), they suck.

The track is actually called 'GREED and Peasant Land'.
I dug this album out after reading this thread. Forgot how good it really was. Was never sure where the skinhead tag came from though??? As they were an indie band. Sure the singer had a shaved head but then so did Jimmy Sommerville and Bronski Beat never got tagged as skinheads.

You listen to screwdriver?
Screwdriver's first album wasn't that bad, and this is before they became a Nazi group.
Do your politics also mean you won't listen to Ramones because they were conservatives?
