Am I the only person horrified by the fact that you listen to the Scissor Sisters more than you listen to Neutral Milk Hotel?


I would post mine, but I've recently formatted my hard drive, and had to reinstall my player, so my list is gone. I could post the new list, but its been ruined because I recently had a guest staying over for the night, and my music kind of got left on. So my top 25 is dominated by one album; which incidentally is Mumford and Sons Sigh No More.

Am I the only person horrified by the fact that you listen to the Scissor Sisters more than you listen to Neutral Milk Hotel?

Apparently. This isn't really a reflection of my favorites, just the ones it ends up that I listen to most. That said, the Album Ta-dah and the Scissor Sisters in general are awesome, so no shame here. What I am surprised at is how often I listen to Rufus Wainwright, Matt and Kim (especially considering my favorite song of theirs isn't the one I listen to most), and Blur.

You know- I saw in a thread earlier someone had said that Animal Collective was for hipsters. That's not a direct quote but it should suffice. The person that said this is incorrect. Their lyrics are amazing- they're amazing performers live- their live shows are better than their album versions (when they play album songs)- and when they don't play album songs it's because they're playing NEW stuff that nobody has ever heard before.

I like them.
