Charles Taylor former dictator of Liberia responsible for war crimes in Sierra Leone, Human rights violations in Liberia as well as many other sh*tty things. Has been confirmed to have given Naomi Campbell blood diamonds in 1997

This is all connected to the Hague trial at the moment of Taylor. However its interesting that in the entire course of the trial no mention of many things have been made such as:
Why was Mandela having a dinner with Taylor who was well known at the time to be a genocidal dictator in 1997.
Why was their no mention of Taylors accounts that the CIA facilitated him in various ways such as :
Freeing him from prison in 1985.
Supporting him militarily and financially in the coup of Thomas Sankara president of Burkina Faso.
This is hardly conspiratorial as these are from Taylors own accounts long before the trial. And re-confirmed by Prince Johnson, a former Liberian warlord allied to Charles Taylor, told Liberia's Truth and Reconciliation Commission (TRC) that the coup was engineered by Charles Taylor.
