I took the libertarian version of this years ago. It was supposed to show there was "no such thing as left and right" which is nonsensical. I took this one, my numbers are in my signature. A few of the questions were a bit odd

I've done the political compass a few times before. I always end up on the far left economically, and a little south of middle on the libertarian side. Some of the social questions are a bit tricky-- I would give one answer under capitalism and another in a socialist society. So, anyway, let's just say it's this:

It's a matter of social libertarianism, which is essentially just social progressivism. This test does seem to place people far closer to that end than I believe they are, particularly when all major politicians are in the upper half.
