I don't understand why there is "pro fishing."

Also, track cycling > Nascar:

"On the one hand it was a day of infamy for organized bass fishing in America," said Harvey Naslund, director of the WON circuit. "But on the other hand it was a major victory for all who have long cared for, and taken steps to protect the integrity of bass-fishing tournaments."

hahahahaha so good

Well I guess with steroids in everything else it was only a matter of time. I despise stock car racing (it is not a sport, among other things) but lure fish. i therefore adm\ire the hard work of honest athletes who spend their time on the water:

I don't see NASCAR as a sport, I just see the mechanics behind it as "innovators" or it as the race being more a competition between pit crews. This could just be because my uncle is a mechanic, so I grew up with him watching them during the races instead of the drivers.

Also, I'd wanna try cycling just because of the curved track. That looks like fun.

The banking on velodromes can be pretty steep - the local one is about 47 degrees.

But yeah it's really fun! Going 30+mph on a banked track riding a bike with no brakes

lol. I like fishing, but I like fishing for food. Fishing as a sport strikes me as pretty silly, it doesn't take any athleticism or anything (unless you're spear fishing, but that's something else entirely).

It's not exhausting but still fly fishing requires some finesse.
