I thought, when I read the title of the thread, that a US recruitment manga was to be made so to get all the US anime freaks interested in joining the army; in which case I would lol.

But, as I can tell, the aim of this manga would probably be for mainland Japanese and not Okinawans, who would probably be offended by such manga. Also, those Japanese who are smart on their history will see through this "alliance story" posed in the manga.

lol, a few years back when I still believed in capitalism and was a centrist, I thought about joining the air force... I took their job test and it said that I pursue being a propaganda artist in those exact words :D

Overall, I don't think this is going to have too much of an effect because of how pissed off people are about this base and how pissed of the Japanese are because of the shear ignorance and stupidity caused and given by the American soldiers as they venture through the cities...
