I've always thought that they're a good idea for non-essential goods (TVs, computers). I'm just wondering what the major communist thinkers thought of them.

I'm not sure what the big anarchist thinkers thought of it, I think bakunin may have advocated it before a full move to gift economy communism, but it may have been the anarchist faq simply attributing it to anarcho collectivism (bakunins tendency).

I also know that the spanish CNt used them.

Well, if we over produced these goods as a method, we wouldn't need vouchers
