AO is a sci-fi themed MMO that is pretty old at this point. Still has a sizable user base (although you only see that a lot later game, because everyone has high level mains there).

I just started a new account after losing my old account info. You can play the original game for free, which is great, and all the expansions come pretty cheap as a subscription type deal. You all should check it out.

Lv 11 Omni Buero, here. Name: TheGman

There's a graphics update coming soon, which will probably come with some other overhauls. I'm on the server Rimor 2 if you're interested.

It's a lot more in-depth than, say, WoW, but it's worth your time.

240 levels :D

it's a mehmorpeger (MMORPG), in which case I expect a whole lot of "click on this enemy, press "attack", and let the game do all the work, when your finished you can go level crunch again"

MMOs actually require a lot of strategy. There are entire websites dedicated, for instance, to world of warcraft game mechanics and strategy.

I never played an MMO. The closest thing to it that I ever played was Phantasy Star on the Dreamcast, and I refuse to pay $15 a month just to play WOW.

Oh I didn't even mention the best part, you reminded me.

The game is set on the planet Rubi-ka, which is in it's entirety leased to Omni Tek inc. It's been held as basically a fief for centuries. The two main factions are Omni Tek, corporate overlords, and the Clans, rebels fighting against oppression. There are also the neutrals but nobody cares about them.

Ironically, I play Omni.
