I'm thinking of documentaries, educational movies, biographies (like 2004 Kinsey, not strictly psychology though), or fiction based on actual experiments (2001 Das Experiment, for example). Does anyone know some good?

My personal favorite is "Secrets Of A Soul" (http://nightonplanetearth.blogspot.com/2010/04/freud-on-film.html), which Freud declined to be involved with but I believe he had assistants work unofficially with director Pabst. The film is based on Freud's work, and I think this was the first movie to do so. It's all explained to great length as a special feature on the dvd but I haven't watched it in a while. If you want more information I can put it on and give you more detail - I love the picture myself but I'm also a deep silent film aficionado.

I'm not sure what topic you're interested in as this one's kind of specific, but PBS recently did a Frontline episode called The Medicated Child. It deals with psychological issues in children, specifically issues related to bipolar treatments and medications. As with everything else PBS does, it pretty much covers all the angles of the topic. A synopsis of the program can be found here (http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/pages/frontline/medicatedchild/etc/synopsis.html), and there's a link at the bottom of the page to watch the entire program online.
EDIT: A cursory search of the innerwebs turned up this (http://www.psychmovies.com/) and this (http://www.sprword.com/psychology.html), the former contains a huge reference list of fictional films portraying various aspects of mental illness, the latter documentaries. Enjoy!

"The Century of the Self" and "The Trap" by Adam Curtis. Century of the Self. is centered around psychoanalysis' relationship to propaganda/advertising. Really, the main point to it, is documenting Edward Bernays' development of the public relations industry. "The Trap" on the other hand, is more-or-less a criticism of the capitalist viewpoint (while Ayn Rand isn't mentioned, the documentary is pretty much a complete rebuttal of her ideas) of "human nature".
Also, I recommend any videos/lectures/books of Dan Pink and Christopher Lasch.
