I like watching the British Parliament go at it on CSPAN. They seem to have more interesting debates and directly challenge the Prime Minister. Some of the debates can be scathing! I love watching old vids of Tony Benn going at it with Thatcher.

Sorry but f**k him. The reason many are voting for it(maybe not that guy) is not out of guilty conscious but if the voters find out they voted down a bill saying health care to 9/11 volunteers etc they'd get slaughtered.

We must remember the reason why this is surreal to see, because congressmen/senators are scumbags in reality, the very same guy I'm sure if you looked up his voting record would have come down many times against working class people without any guilty conscious.
